Corey Rose is an Emmy award-winning journalist and weekday morning anchor for 9News/KUSA. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.
She’s been with the NBC affiliate and called Denver home for 12 years.
Corey serves on several local non-profit boards, including the Colorado Professional Fire Fighter Foundation, and is also the President and Founder of the Wishes and Heroes Benefit Concert, an annual fundraiser for firefighters and Make-A-Wish kids. To date, it’s raised nearly $350,000.
Corey is married to Josh, a former professional mixed martial arts fighter and financial planner. They have two kids, Christian and Cali, and a rescue dog named Kimura.
The mission of the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation is to provide aid and support to Colorado fire fighters, their families, and dependents who are victims of tragedy.
